The Ellwood City Children’s Center is committed to the development of the total child: emotionally, intellectually, socially, and physically through experience suited to the maturity levels and growth patterns of each child in the atmosphere of caring and loving.
The Ellwood City Children’s Center is licensed by the PA Department of Welfare. Our certifications include:
- The Pennsylvania Department of Human Services
- The Pennsylvania Department of Education
- Keystone Stars 3 Facility
We observe all applicable federal, state, and local regulations regarding the operation of the center including those pertaining to education, nutrition, health and sanitation, child-abuse, non-discrimination, safety, employment and confidentiality. Our center complies with regulations that prohibit discrimination on the basis of age, ancestry, color, handicap, national origin, race, religious creed or sex.

Ellwood City Children’s Center To Reopen Monday, June 1, 2020
May 28, 2020 ECCC Parents and Staff, We are thinking about all our families during these pandemic times. We hope that everyone is doing well, staying healthy and safe. ECCC will officially be reopening the daycare to provide for your children on Monday, June 1st. This will enable the Ellwood City Children’s Center to be ready to ensure the safety of everyone. Educational Packets Pick-up Friday, April 10 from 3pm – 5pm
The Ellwood City Children's Center has put together Educational Packets for all the Preschool and Pre-K children. We are trying to offer continuity of education to the children per Department of Education. Also, we will be passing out Easter treats to all the children at the Center. We will be passing the Educational Packets and the Easter treats on Friday, April 10th from 3 pm to 5 pm. Please use the half moon driveway
Day Care Services
Child Services are made available to meet the needs of working parents
Infant (0-12 months)

Providing a warm, welcoming environment where your baby can grow.
Young Toddler (1–2 years)

A safe place for your newly independent child to play, wonder, and discover how to make friends.
Older Toddler (2–3 years)

Empowering toddlers to be confident, successful, lifelong learners.
Preschooler (3–5 years)

Developing the social, emotional, cognitive and physical skills necessary to prepare them for Kindergarten.
School Age

High-quality child care services for parents during periods when students are not involved in regular school programs.
Hours of Operation and Contact Information
Childcare Services are Provided from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Preschool program runs 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM, Monday through Friday.
